Clothes for families at Makepe Missoke
January 2020: an appeal for unused clothes, and a giveaway for families in the Makepe Missoke neighbourhood of Douala.

01
The challenge
Some children have so few clothes that, in the Foundation’s words, they wear one T-shirt for a week before it can be washed.
02
What we did
The Foundation asked the public to bring clothes they no longer wear, then held a giveaway of the clothes at Makepe Missoke with the volunteers and supporters who joined.
03
What changed
Families at Makepe Missoke received the donated clothes. As the Foundation put it: “We touched lives.”

In their words
Nothing is ever little to put a smile on someone’s face or make their day.
What happens next
Community Development is a proposed pillar of the Foundation; its programmes will be described here once confirmed.
